Laboratorios Farmalán is currently carrying out its Strategic Plan for the Development of New Injectable Hormone Specialties for the treatment of cancer and other diseases. This plan is partially granted by the Institute of Business Competitiveness of The Board of Castilla y Leon with the financial support of the European Union.
DIVAVACEHD: DEVELOPMENT OF A DIVA SUBUNIT VACCINE AGAINST EPIZOOTIC HAEMORRHAGIC DISEASE (EHD) IN CATTLE PRODUCED USING CRISBIO® TECHNOLOGY
The DIVAVACEHD project represents an innovative collaboration between six leading entities: ALGENEX, BIOGÉNESIS BAGÓ, PROALT, LABORATORIOS FARMALAN, CISA-INIA, CSIC and CIC bioGUNE, with the aim of developing an effective vaccine against the Epizootic Haemorrhagic Disease Virus (EHDV) in cattle. This initiative combines advanced biotechnology, protein design using artificial intelligence, preclinical and clinical research, industrial development and technology transfer to offer an effective solution to a high-impact disease in livestock.
This project is supported by the Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology (CDTI) and is co-financed with European funds from the Recovery and Resilience Mechanism, within the call for the TRANSMISIONES 2024 Programme, within the Transfer and Collaboration of the State Plan for Scientific, Technical and Innovation Research 2024-2027 Framework Programme.
